Basic Materials of Lithium-ion Battery Pack
Generally speaking the main items of a lithium-ion battery pack can be classified as follows. Of course not every battery contains each of the following, and what is included depends on product usage, cost, etc..
Cell: The main part of the battery pack. When the core part of the battery pack is discharged, it converts chemical energy into electrical energy
PCB (or more professionally, BMS): protects and maintains the battery operation. It is an important part of the lithium-ion battery pack.
Housing: Lithium-ion battery pack packaging carrier, protects the battery from external forces, is aesthetically pleasing and easy to install in battery application equipment.
Power indicator: indicates the remaining battery power.
Fishpaper: Insulation and insulation. Separate the battery from other components.
EVA : Insulates and dampens or fills in to hold the battery in place.
Brace: to fix the battery position or make the battery arranged in a certain way
High-temperature tape : Insulates and dampens or to hold the battery in place.
Nickel tape: acts as a conductor to keep the cells connected in parallel or in series.
Conductor: responsible for the output of the battery.
Output connector: The battery output connector, connected to the equipment used.
Label: Shows the battery parameters and precautions for use.
PVC: the outer packaging of the battery, heat-shrinkable plastic.
Circuit board of the adapter: to achieve the positioning of the battery, battery series and parallel connection
Fuse: overcurrent protection to prevent equipment damage caused by abnormally high current
