International Shipping of Batteries

* Some customers are worried about international shipping of batteries. We would like to provide some useful information for reference.
* Usually, there are several ways in this industry.
(1) Express delivery. fedex / UPS / DHL / TNT / EMS. for express delivery, it is door to door service, which includes customs clearance, it does not include taxes. And express is the fastest way to ship. But general account can't transport battery products directly, only digital devices with built-in battery. However, most freight forwarders' accounts have the administrative authority to transport batteries directly. In view of this situation, it is better to find a professional freight forwarder. (2) Specialized air freight, which is also a door-to-door service. It includes tax and customs clearance. The shipping time will be a little longer than express delivery. Usually, it delivers the battery products to the destination and then arranges local express delivery to you.
(3) Sea freight, which is the cheapest one. And the shipping time is much longer than the others. It does not include duties and taxes.
(4) Sea freight + land freight. This is a door to door service. They first ship the battery to the destination port. Then their local partner will do the customs clearance and taxation and ship the battery directly to you. The cost will be lower than air shipping and higher than ocean shipping.
(5) Overland transportation / Train transportation. This is a door to door service. They deliver the battery to the destination and do the customs clearance and taxation. Then they will arrange local express delivery to you.
